PHYSICH PROJECT : HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE MAGNET?
So I asked Mr. Ramelan to give me a special exemption to make a group consist of 3 student only. Anyway, my work will influence my mark and I want to get the best mark. Caused by my persuasive and reasonable arguing, he allowed me to choose my partners . Beside, I am his brilliant student =D
Than I choosed Devi Putri and Yonita Yuliani as my partners. They are two of the most intelligent student in my class. Devi is the master of Mathematic. I’ve no idea how could she stand all the day to solve the Algebra operation or finding a Gradient. -,- If I were in the same situation, I’d rather to read a hundred books than doing that.
And Yonita has a very special brain to memorize all chapter in Undang-Undang Dasar, all country’s independence day, and the date of every historical event etc. She is the master of History, Civic, and all subject that require a memorize-able brain.
We successfully made our magnet by three optional ways; by Rubbing, Induction, by Electric Current or Electromagnetic.To make your own magnet, we have made and post our Project report below. Please read the following instruction carefully!
Appliance & Materials :
2..Isolated copper wire 2 meter
3. Big nail 2 pieces
4.. Iron Powder
5. Insulation Tape
6.. Scissor
7.. Cutter
8. Bulb ( 2.5 V - 3,6 V)
9.. Paper 1 sheet
10. Battery
11. Small nail 5 pieces
A. Make magnet by Rubbing
1. Prepare the permanent bar-magnet and nail
2. Rub one of the tips of the magnet bar along the nail in one way repeatedly in 5 - 10 Minutes
3. Then approach the nail to iron powder. Consider how your nail attracts the iron powder!
B. Making magnet with Induction
1. Prepare the nail and bar-magnet
2. Atach the big nail to the bar-magnet
3. Approach some small nails to one of the tip of big nail. Now the small nail attach to the big one
C. Making magnet with electric current or Electromagnetic
1. Bale 2 battery become one with paper. Positive Polar meet the pole of negative conversely. Gum with insulation!
2. Twist the copper wire to the big nail from the bottom to the top!
3. Connect one tip of twisted copper wire to the battery and other tip to the bulb until the bulb on.
4.. Wait untill the bulb doesn’t produce light anymore. Then approach it to the iron powder. Now our nail become a magnet.
