My Junior High school Farewell Party

Image
4 th of June 2011 would remain in my brain as the end of my journey in SMPN 1 Balikpapan. At Ballroom of Grand Senyiur Hotel, lot of voices inside the ballroom mixed as a symphony of enthusiasm to face the waiting adventure as a High School student. At the same time, sadness in the air cannot be hidden anymore. We’ve been together for 3 years. Same classmates, same faces everyday. That made us know and understand each other well. Being apart won’t be a pleasure at all.

Safira's Birthday Surprise Party

Image
Last saturday, we made a surprise party for our dearest pal Safira. We had been prepared since a long time. We contacted Safira's mother, aka Tante Dewi =D she helped and supported us in making the party. We gathered in Aldhita's house as our first base to collect any stuff used for our surprise party; include Eggs and Flour to be Safira's hair creambath ehehehe Than we went to safira's house while she was in Mall with her mom. Along the preparation at Safira's house, we kept contacting her mother. Many of Tante Dewi's crew helped us. Thanks to Safira's maid : Mba Penny =D Theesa bought the birthday cake.

Suicide Bombing

Al-Nisa (The Women) Sura 4: Verse 29 (Partial) "... And kill yourselves not, for God is truly Merciful to you." People who are driven to despair are thus reminded to have faith in God's mercy in the hope that they may be relieved of their suffering. Since suicide is prohibited, anyone who tries to facilitate it, or acts as an accomplice, is also liable to a deterrent punishment that may be quantified by the court while taking into consideration the material circumstances of the case. Commentators have, moreover, drawn a five-point conclusion from this verse as follows:

Taking The Husband’s Name After Marriage – Not Based on Shareeah

In our eagerness to copy the West, we Muslims have adopted many of their practices which have no basis in the Sharee’ah. And among them is the practice of a woman changing her family name to that of her husband after she gets married. The fact is that Islam does not require woman to change her name at marriage and there is nothing in the Sunnah to indicate that a woman should take her husband’s name after she gets married.

April Fool : A Dishonest Tradition

Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu 1st April – a day when people lie, play jokes and mock in the name of entertainment. This ugly practice of lying, which is considered to be merely a humor, is known to have caused great harm to many. Still this dishonest tradition is not only practiced among the common masses, but also newspapers and magazines participate in it by publishing false news and untrue stories on the first day of April!

Sat Nite @POPSteak

Image
About 3 weeks ago on March 19th, there was an opening of new steak restaurant near our school. And it is called POPSteak. And they've got a very attractive motto under the pamflet, "Steak enak dan Murah". Well, as a student we must be attracted by the word 'MURAH' means cheap in english hoho. Paling gak ini meringankan beban kocek kami , sebagai 9th grader entah kenapa duit musti ngalir buat praktek dan fotocopi ini itu. Apalagi aku termasuk pemegang teguh generasi remaja pelit-,- Kalo kata iklan Axis kan hemat beb....
